The International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property, known as AIPPI (Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle), Latvian National group (AIPPI LNG) is a voluntary union (society) of Latvian individuals and legal entities, that unites not only patent and trademark attorneys, attorneys at law and lawyers practicing in the field of intellectual property law, but also manufacturers and service providers, which business is connected with the intellectual property.
AIPPI is the world’s leading non-governmental international organization dedicated to the development and improvement of laws for the protection of intellectual property. It is a politically neutral, non-profit organization, based in Switzerland with over 9000 Members representing more than 125 countries.
The Latvian National Group (AIPPI LNG) of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) strongly condemns the military aggression against Ukraine and expresses its support and solidarity with the Ukrainian people, hoping that the current conflict will end soon and peaceful solution through diplomacy and dialogue will be found.
Latvian National Group of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI LNG) and Latvian Association of Professional Patent Attorneys (LPPA) organized a seminar and an open discussion on possible domain name dispute resolution models in the top level ".lv" zone.
